Super Moist Choco-Banana Cake (Eggless)

This one’s the softest and the moistest cake I ever baked !! I was left with an extremely over ripe bananas, And didn’t have the heart to throw it away, So the best usage was bake a quick cake πŸ™‚ Finished all the work in 10 mins flat, Well not considering the baking time though πŸ˜› Its a one bowl cake, zero hassles, and extremely tasty πŸ™‚ Try it, And am sure you will want to have over ripe bananas next time πŸ™‚ And the best part is its vegan and wholewheat, so a healthy one for your family πŸ™‚

Recipe Credits : Raks Kitchen


  • Wheat flour – 1 & 1/4 cup
  • Banana – 2
  • Cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Canola oil (or any other refined oil) – 1/3 cup
  • Water – 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp


  • In a mixing bowl,Β Mash the overripe banana, Now add the sugar and whisk well using a balloon whisk, Next add the baking soda, canola oil, salt, water and cocoa powder, Whisk properly until all the ingredients are well cooperated.
  • Now add the wheat flour and just fold it into the wet mixture, do not over mix.
  • Preheat oven at 180 deg C (350 F). Mix and pour the mix into a greased loaf tin.
  • Bake for about 40 min, check with a wooden skewer, and if the skewer comes out clean, then its done.
  • Cool completely before taking out of the pan. CutΒ into slices and serve along with a glass of milk or tea, Blissful πŸ™‚
